Job description

Overview

This is a strong opportunity for a developing designer who wants variety, creative growth, and the chance to contribute to work that is considered, practical, and imaginative.

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will assist with the creation and delivery of campaigns, projects, and new business activity, partnering with teams in creative, strategy, content, PR, client service, and production.

You will help translate ideas into visual output across print, digital, social, presentation, campaign, and brand materials. You will also support pitches, tenders, and marketing activity as the organisation continues expanding its presence in New South Wales.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and rolling out campaign and project assets for print, digital, social, and presentation use.
  • Develop layouts, early-stage concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes for internal review and client feedback.
  • Produce refined, audience-focused visual work that follows brand direction and client goals.
  • Work with typography, page structure, imagery, illustration, basic motion, and other visual design components.
  • Prepare final artwork and production-ready files to a consistently high standard.
  • Support pitch documents, tender submissions, and client-facing presentations.
  • Collaborate with teams across Sydney and Melbourne to deliver creative work that is useful, effective, and well considered.
  • Contribute curiosity, attention, and positive energy to the design process.

About you

The ideal candidate has around 2 or more years of graphic design experience, preferably gained in an agency or studio setting.

You should be confident working in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Familiarity with Figma, motion, video, or animation would be advantageous, though not required.

A strong sense of typography, layout, and composition is important, along with some exposure to brand identity, campaign, or marketing design. You should also be organised, open to feedback, and capable of managing quality output across several deadlines.

Above all, we are looking for a collaborative designer who wants to keep learning, contribute to a strong creative environment, and work on projects with purpose.

Application requirements

  • Submit a cover letter, resume, and portfolio.
  • Include links to examples of work you have created.
  • Applicants must have the right to work full-time in Australia.

Inclusion

The employer welcomes applications from people of all ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. This includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTIQA+ people, people from multicultural communities, people who speak a language other than English, people with disabilities, older Australians, and parents returning to work.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
