Role overview
This position is for a junior-level graphic designer to join a well-regarded editorial design studio in Bedford. The team is specifically looking for raw creative potential, strong commitment, and a willingness to develop into a highly skilled editorial designer through structured support and hands-on learning.
The studio places a strong emphasis on craft, precision, and consistent improvement. Day-to-day work will take place in a professional studio setting where effort, collaboration, and attention to detail are essential.
This opportunity is designed for someone starting out in the field and looking to build a long-term career in editorial design with guided training from the first day.

Work location: Stevington, Bedford, England, United Kingdom.
Pay: £25,500 plus benefits.
Start date: Tuesday, 1 September 2026.

What the role involves
- Contributing to a busy editorial design studio environment.
- Learning studio processes and design skills through direct mentoring and practical experience.
- Supporting a range of design projects across varied client and publishing work.

Training and working environment
The company offers structured one-to-one training from the beginning, with an experienced team member acting as a mentor. Support is available throughout the learning process so new starters are not expected to work things out on their own.
The studio culture is described as encouraging and collaborative, with an emphasis on colleagues helping one another and working together effectively.
Successful candidates will gain exposure to a broad mix of projects and real studio experience in a fast-moving setting. A group intake will begin together on the same date, which means new starters will train alongside peers.
