Junior Freelance Graphic Designer for Luxury Apparel Branding

Role Overview

A premium fashion and lifestyle label is looking for a skilled graphic designer to develop two related logo elements that reflect mystery, refinement, and subtle discovery. The brand direction is inspired by magic and concealed details, so the visual system should feel modern, restrained, and elevated.

The main task is to design a polished wordmark for HIDDEN METHOD, with the word METHOD partially concealed in a tasteful way. In addition, you will create a standalone monogram or icon that can be used independently across different brand touchpoints. Both assets should suggest hidden meaning through smart use of negative space, discreet reveals, and understated symbolism.

The finished identity should work well for luxury apparel branding and remain effective at small sizes, in monochrome, and in embroidery applications. Reference imagery and visual inspiration will be shared to support the creative process.

Deliverables

• A primary wordmark featuring the name HIDDEN METHOD, with part of “METHOD” visually obscured
• A separate monogram or icon that can stand on its own
• A combined lockup bringing both logo elements together
• Vector source files and PNG exports for every asset
• Black-and-white versions of all logo options
• An embroidery-ready version
• A version optimized for social profile use

Requirements

• Demonstrated background in logo creation, ideally for fashion, lifestyle, or premium brands
• A portfolio that shows thoughtful use of negative space, subtle visual tricks, and contemporary styling
• Experience producing marks that remain clear for embroidery, compact formats, and single-colour use
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and similar design tools
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to turn abstract ideas into visual concepts
• Good communication habits and openness to feedback
• Availability to handle a one-off assignment with a fast delivery timeline
• Comfort working remotely
