Role Overview
As a Junior Financial Accountant focusing on Accounts Receivable, you will play a key role in managing our receivables and contribute to our company's financial success. This position offers opportunities for growth within the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of accounts receivable.
- Issuing invoices accurately and timely.
- Handling debt collection activities via phone and email specifically for trade fairs.
- Conducting regular discussions with sales and management to align on actions and resolve queries or issues.
- Proactively identifying overdue payers and proposing strategies to ensure payments before events.
- Collaborating with internal departments to resolve disputed invoices and secure payments.
- Advising customers and internal teams on billing-related inquiries.
- Responding promptly and comprehensively to both customer and internal queries.
- Processing refund requests in accordance with company policies.
Candidate Profile
- Strong affinity for numbers with an analytical and process-oriented mindset.
- Meticulous and detail-focused work style.
- Structured approach combined with creative problem-solving skills.
- Completed commercial education or degree.
- Prior experience in financial accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Excel; advanced skills are essential.
- Basic knowledge of DATEV systems is desirable but not required.
- Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written, to collaborate with UK and Hamburg teams and international clients.
