Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and contribute to the annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders such as banks, insurance companies, auditors, and authorities.
- Support the team across asset accounting as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Generate business performance evaluations, analyses, and statistics; prepare management reports and presentations; and engage in international, group-wide financial planning.
- Assist with queries and reconciliation processes involving our foreign sales subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with the team on cross-departmental projects and provide support during audits and tax-related matters.
Candidate Profile
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on accounting or finance, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in corporate accounting including skills in financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ideally familiar with SAP FI/CO modules.
- Motivated to contribute to process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, good communication skills, and team orientation.
- Excellent command of German and good English proficiency in both spoken and written form.
