This role supports a fast-moving, highly collaborative group of marketing professionals and works closely with the Senior Designer to keep visual output polished, consistent, and aligned with brand standards across WPP Media and its agency brands.
The position is well suited to someone who enjoys varied design work, thrives under tight deadlines, and has a strong eye for detail. A large share of the workload is presentation design, with additional support for print and digital collateral that helps strengthen the company’s market presence across Australia.

Key Relationships and Work Context
- You will report to the WPP Media Head of Growth and Marketing in Australia, while working closely each day with the Senior Designer and Chief Growth Officer.
- You will support marketing and growth leaders across core agency brands such as EssenceMediacom, Mindshare, and Wavemaker.
- The workflow is centralized, with around 90% of daily output focused on PowerPoint production and the remaining 10% on print and digital asset design.
- The role involves quickly refining high-volume growth materials, including pitch decks and social templates, within compressed timelines.
Responsibilities
- Create, format, and visually refine large volumes of PowerPoint presentations and new business pitch materials.
- Develop supporting visual assets such as brand lock-ups, custom icons, and mock-ups for digital and print use.
- Support the marketing team by supplying design guidance, quality checks, and visual assets for EDMs, social media, and email campaigns.
- Carry out image editing tasks such as deep-etching, colour correction, resizing, and retouching with Photoshop and AI-assisted tools.
- Prepare artwork for print by ensuring correct bleeds, trims, CMYK settings, and other production-ready specifications.
- Build practical PowerPoint templates and reusable self-service materials to reduce repeated design requests.
- Maintain an orderly shared asset library so colleagues can easily access and reuse approved collateral.
Requirements
- Strong presentation design capability, including building, formatting, and animating polished layouts in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Solid command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, for both print and digital design work.
- Experience preparing and checking files for print production as well as digital screen formats.
- Careful attention to detail, particularly in text alignment, brand consistency, and multi-page document formatting.
- Skill in image manipulation, including deep-etching, retouching, and colour correction.
- Good organisation and time management to balance priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Clear communication and interpersonal ability to work well with designers and non-designers.
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to handle daily production work and ad hoc requests.
Preferred Experience
- Experience using AI-enabled Photoshop tools for image enhancement and detailed mock-up creation.
- Basic motion or video editing experience, including familiarity with After Effects, Premiere, or Canva.
- Previous work in a media, creative, or corporate marketing agency environment.
