Job description
Role overview
Dynamis, Inc. is hiring a Junior Criminal Analyst to support a high-profile HSI Worksite Enforcement Unit mission focused on safeguarding the integrity of the U.S. labor force. In this position, you will work closely with HSI special agents to review I-9 employment records, business documents, and government data sources that inform national and international worksite enforcement investigations. The role is fast-moving, highly detailed, and has direct impact on enforcement outcomes such as Notices of Inspection, Notices of Intent to Fine, and other court-approved actions. This opportunity also provides exposure to federal investigations, mentorship from experienced investigators, and room to grow into more advanced compliance and investigative work.
What you'll do
- Review employer I-9 forms, payroll information, corporate records, and related employment files to identify possible compliance issues and violations linked to federal immigration employment rules.
- Search and compare information across law enforcement and commercial databases to uncover inconsistencies, trends, and leads that support active investigations.
- Write concise and reliable case summaries, analysis notes, and findings that can stand up to review and directly assist enforcement actions.
- Help coordinate liaison work that connects domestic and international investigations, initiatives, and partner organizations.
- Keep case documentation organized and accurate while following DHS/ICE privacy and data-handling standards.
- Prepare briefing documents and analytical support materials for site inspections, enforcement operations, and senior leadership meetings.
What we're looking for
We are seeking candidates with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business administration, public administration, law, or a closely related area. The role calls for 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in compliance, investigations, legal support, immigration services, or a similar field. Strong research and analytical ability is essential, along with the capacity to review large amounts of information and turn it into clear conclusions. You should also be comfortable handling high-volume, accurate data entry from paper records into digital systems and conducting database searches to support detailed reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important because the job involves producing formal analytical work and coordinating regularly with federal law enforcement staff. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an ICE suitability determination and must be U.S. citizens. Preferred experience includes work with federal law enforcement or regulatory agencies, familiarity with Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements, prior exposure to HSI, ICE, or other DHS operations, experience handling sensitive or law-enforcement-controlled data, and proficiency with government databases or investigative case management tools.
Additional information
This position is based in Atlanta, GA and is a full-time, onsite role. The work is designed for someone who can manage sensitive information carefully, operate in a compliance-driven environment, and contribute to mission-critical investigative efforts.
