Junior Credit Analyst - Hedge Fund

Key Responsibilities

• Support fundamental credit research for corporate issuers spanning various sectors.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate credit quality and valuation.
• Perform industry and company analyses to back investment suggestions.
• Track portfolio positions and deliver regular credit updates.
• Assist in preparing investment memoranda and presentations for internal audiences.
• Collaborate closely with a Senior Credit Analyst to aid in idea generation and execution.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Have 1 to 4 years of pertinent experience.
• Backgrounds considered include consulting/advisory (notably Big 4 or equivalents), transaction/deals/restructuring, audit in any industry, or experience within investment banks or buy-side firms.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and advanced financial modeling capabilities.
• Possess a solid grasp of credit fundamentals and the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Show intellectual curiosity and a strong passion for credit investing.
• Exhibit excellent communication and presentation prowess.
• Be comfortable thriving in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
