Job description

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients from energy-intensive industries at the intersection of economic-regulatory and technical issues.
  • Identify potential energy-related opportunities in taxation, levies, grids, procurement, energy policy, and risk avoidance, representing client interests vis-à-vis grid operators, authorities, energy traders, and brokers.
  • Support projects concerning the strategic full energy cost situation of large clients, including those with an international context.
  • Maintain sustained relationships with clients at top management level, including occasional onsite meetings.
  • Contribute daily to ensuring clients are optimally positioned in terms of cost and risk across the entire energy spectrum.

Candidate Profile

  • Highly customer-oriented with strong communication skills and a personable demeanor that enhances presentation abilities.
  • Quickly grasps complex relationships and possesses analytical competence.
  • Demonstrates high motivation and willingness to promptly take on responsibility.
  • Holds a Master's degree, for example in industrial engineering, economics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with fluent business English skills.
  • Knowledge of market and economic processes in the financial and energy sectors is advantageous, as is project experience such as internships in this domain.
  • International experience (semester abroad, internships, work and travel) is appreciated but not required.
