Job description
Role overview
This position is for a doctor who has finished Foundation Training and is seeking a distinctive clinical role in an emerging area of medicine. The work focuses on supporting patients with complex and life-changing conditions through cannabis-based medicines, while building experience in a progressive healthcare setting.
You will be part of a motivated clinical team working in a fast-growing specialty, collaborating with consultants, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary professionals to improve patient care and outcomes.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
What the role involves
The Junior Clinical Fellow will support the London team in a practical, patient-centred role with direct involvement in prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex clinical needs. The emphasis is on delivering safe, effective, and individualised treatment across a broad range of conditions.
The position also includes contributing to the development of clinical pathways, education work, and service improvement initiatives. It offers the chance to deepen clinical knowledge and make a meaningful contribution in a rapidly evolving area of healthcare.
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week. The schedule is split between three days on site and two days working remotely. One Saturday each month is required on site, and Saturday work is compensated with a day off in lieu.

Working style and environment
This role combines remote and on-site work, with face-to-face clinical activity on three days per week and remote work on two days per week. The post also includes regular Saturday attendance once a month.
Benefits
Employees receive 25 days of holiday, increasing to 27 days after one year and 30 days after three years, plus 8 bank holidays. The package also includes employer pension matching up to 5%, work-from-home flexibility, a cycle-to-work scheme, opportunities to collaborate across teams and represent the company at events, and enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
Ideal background
The role suits a registered medical practitioner with experience in clinical settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Familiarity with cannabis-based medicines is useful but not essential, as specialised training can be provided.
