Junior Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals looking to start a career in business analysis, data interpretation, and process improvement. The role focuses on learning how to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while working closely with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
• Support analysis of business processes to identify improvements and efficiencies
• Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for decision-making
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand project requirements
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and requirement discussions
• Assist in testing and validating solutions against business needs
• Document workflows, processes, and functional specifications
• Learn and apply business analysis tools and methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• No prior professional experience required (internships or academic projects are a plus)
• Strong interest in business analysis, data, or IT processes
• Basic understanding of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a structured environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to data tools or visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Any relevant certification in Business Analysis (optional, not required)
• Internship or academic project experience in analysis or reporting
