Role Overview
Lens and Frames Opticians, a leader in the optical retail sector in Kerala, seeks a Junior Accountant to join their Head Office team based in Ernakulam. This position involves detailed accounting responsibilities to support the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record accounting transactions including purchases, invoices, and payables accurately.
- Perform daily financial verification by vouching and validating transactions, expenses, and reports from branches.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations for bank statements, card transactions, supplier accounts, and ledger balances.
- Develop and maintain reports and data sets using Microsoft Excel.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience at a Chartered Accountant Audit Firm is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with ERP software solutions are valuable assets.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree in any specialization.
