Job description

About the Company

Sanabil Studio is a venture-building firm that combines sector expertise, technology, and startup experience to transform early ideas into operating businesses. It develops ventures from concept to launch and, once a venture shows promise, supports it with seed capital and active help to grow.

Miza is one of Sanabil Studio’s ventures. It is creating a digital wealth management platform designed to broaden access to premium global investment opportunities. The platform serves high-net-worth individuals by opening access to private funds, pre-IPO opportunities, and alternative assets that are usually restricted by high entry thresholds and limited networks. The goal is to reshape the private wealth experience through a mix of modern technology and curated investment access.

This opportunity is for a Managing Investments Associate who will own key parts of portfolio construction, fund operations, and counterparty coordination from day one while working directly with the CEO.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage daily coordination with external counterparties such as fund houses, custodians, distribution platforms, and global asset managers.
  • Oversee operational flows with counterparties so subscriptions, redemptions, and capital calls are processed accurately and on schedule.
  • Act as the main contact for routine operational and investment-related questions from external partners.
  • Assist the investment team in evaluating funds, managers, and strategies for client portfolio inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain the investment universe, due diligence materials, comparison analyses, and fee benchmarking.
  • Conduct recurring portfolio reviews and rebalancing assessments.
  • Prepare investment memos, fund summaries, market updates, and client-ready investment notes.
  • Translate technical investment content between English and Arabic for client communication.
  • Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all investment documents.
  • Support trade execution across funds, equities, and fixed income instruments.
  • Reconcile positions, trade confirmations, and settlements with the operations team.
  • Help refine and strengthen internal investment processes as the business expands.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in asset management, wealth management, private banking, or investment operations.
  • CME1 and CME4 certifications are mandatory.
  • Strong written and spoken fluency in both Arabic and English.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers, fund documents, and reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve actual workflows, not only for drafting.
  • Helpful additional background: private markets, alternative investments, or global funds.
  • Helpful additional background: experience in a CMA-regulated environment.

Role Expectations and Work Environment

This is an individual-contributor role with direct ownership and minimal management layers. You are expected to take initiative, execute independently, and follow through without constant supervision.

Because small errors can have meaningful business impact, reliability is essential. The role directly affects the company’s operations and outcomes.

The position is designed to grow into a senior investments role as Miza expands its platform and client base across the region.

What You’ll Gain

  • Meaningful responsibility from the first day, with the chance to shape how the business operates.
  • High autonomy and limited bureaucracy.
  • Exposure to global private markets, including private funds, pre-IPO opportunities, and alternative investments.
  • Direct mentorship and close collaboration with the CEO and founding team.
  • A steep learning curve with strong development over the first 12 months.

Hiring Process

The selection flow includes an introductory recruiter conversation, a CEO interview, a technical investment exercise, reference checks, and then an offer.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
