Role Overview
SKIMS is hiring a Jr. Graphic Designer to support digital and e-commerce creative initiatives. This position is based in Los Angeles, and the selected candidate must either already be in LA or be willing to relocate. The role requires working from the office four days per week.
What You’ll Do
You will create website banners and landing pages, develop static and motion assets for paid media, produce email creative and variations, build site mockups, and export production-ready assets for multiple channels and platforms. The role calls for someone who understands how design can support direct response and business results, can adapt quickly to the brand’s visual style, and applies performance-focused design practices to produce compelling, conversion-oriented creative.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-moving environment that demands accuracy and strong production execution.
- Build landing pages designed to improve conversion on desktop and mobile.
- Regularly update site banners with fresh visual content.
- Create digital ad assets in multiple formats and sizes for paid social and paid search channels such as Instagram, Google, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Edit video clips and still imagery, and develop motion graphics animations.
- Support marketing emails and automated email creative.
- Partner with the performance marketing team to extract insights from creative testing.
- Use AI tools to speed up production, explore concepts, generate variations, and refine creative output.
- Research and brainstorm ad concepts so campaigns continue to evolve and perform in a changing digital environment.
- Maintain close communication with both creative and performance stakeholders.
- Manage handoff for creative production and keep assets organized across teams.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in digital design for social media, web, and email marketing.
- Background in graphic design, motion design, and UX/UI design.
- Strong understanding of layout and typography principles.
- Hands-on experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Practical use of AI-based creative tools such as Midjourney, Kive, Flora, Higgsfield, Adobe Firefly, or similar products to improve workflows and generate assets.
- Comfort with a test-and-learn creative approach and the ability to keep iterating toward stronger results.
- Video editing experience is mandatory.
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and fast turnaround expectations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort handling cross-functional work across multiple projects.
- Experience using project management tools such as Monday or Asana.
- Genuine interest in strong content and current internet trends.
- Los Angeles presence is preferred, or willingness to relocate; candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000.
Work Location
This is an onsite position based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, with a 4-day in-office expectation.
