Role Overview
This position involves taking end-to-end operational and functional ownership of assigned projects. The role focuses on steering OEM/OES projects, managing budgets and resources, driving milestone delivery, handling escalations, and ensuring strong coordination across internal teams and customer stakeholders.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Oversee the assigned projects from an operational and functional standpoint.
- Handle OEM/OES projects, including component and system projects that use known technology elements.
- Own the delivery of project KPIs covering profitability, quality, and production preparation.
- Manage development payback, extended margin, and other profitability-related targets.
- Arrange and control project resources so that execution remains on track.
- Drive associated P2 actors when P2 activities are still open in P1.
- Resolve project issues that need support from any relevant function through the escalation process.
- Review and validate project team activities, then propose timing scenarios to meet milestones.
- Support concept competitions when needed to help secure customer orders.
- Define project scope and manage the budget for the project and the project/system portion under responsibility.
- Prepare decision-making material for relevant committees and assess the readiness of the project team.
- Prepare and submit CAA and IAR at project/system level and review the readiness of P1 Project Managers or Launch Managers for projects within the system.
- Coordinate all project changes, both internal and customer-driven, through the team.
- Apply Design to Cost practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Escalate gaps versus targets at the appropriate level with timely anticipation.
- Lead AAI and support the development of all PTMs within the team.
- Act as the functional owner for all PTMs, define project objectives, and ensure their performance appraisal is completed.
Customer Communication
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding project development status.
- Keep clients informed about project progress.
- Prepare and validate progress reports for PSC, PMC, and all required governance milestones.
- Manage customer relationships at both local and central levels.
- Coordinate communication within the team and with related P2/P1 projects.
- Ensure escalation management is handled properly whenever required.

- Ensure proper use of products, methodology, and tools within the team.
