Role Overview

This full-time permanent position is based in Rocky View County / Calgary, Alberta. The role pays $21.50 per hour and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. The sanitation team supports housekeeping and cleanliness across the operation under the direction of a supervisor or manager.

Key Duties

The janitorial function is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and ready-for-inspection facility. Work includes sanitation tasks across office, warehouse, and exterior areas, along with support for light maintenance when needed.

• Clean restrooms, break areas, locker rooms, and office spaces according to the sanitation schedule.
• Maintain exterior spaces, including windows, walkways, and trash containers/receptacles.
• Sweep and scrub warehouse floors and office areas on the assigned schedule.
• Wipe down racks, guard rails, and walls in both warehouse and office areas.
• Keep the facility safe, tidy, and prepared for tours or inspections.
• Support maintenance technicians as needed and assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting.
• Carry out other assigned duties, including overtime when required.

Additional Responsibilities

• Complete sanitation tasks within the timelines set out in the Master Sanitation Plan.
• Take on any other work assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Skills and Abilities

The position calls for someone who can work accurately, communicate effectively, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment. The role also requires the ability to build professional working relationships and handle several tasks at once.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least 1 year of prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Equipment certification may be required depending on the site.

All screening is limited to information directly related to the role and follows applicable privacy and human rights laws.

Safety and Work Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive role. Depending on location, the position may involve operating equipment and obtaining the required certification. The job is not DOT-regulated.

Compensation and Benefits
