Role overview

Cox & Co Advisory is seeking an entry-level IT Support Officer to provide dependable day-to-day technical assistance and help keep systems, devices, and applications operating without disruption. This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving tech issues, supporting colleagues, and expanding their knowledge across modern IT tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for hardware, software, and network support issues.
  • Set up, install, and maintain computers, connected devices, and business software.
  • Handle incoming support requests and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Support software updates, application deployments, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Administer user access, including account setup, password changes, and permission management.
  • Record support cases, resolutions, and internal IT processes clearly.
  • Partner with internal teams to strengthen service quality and improve the user experience.

Requirements

  • Working understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic networking principles.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, or similar workplace productivity platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
