IT Support Officer - Australia Only (Remote, Entry-Level)

About the Role

Nu School is seeking an entry-level IT Support Officer who is technically adept and customer-oriented to ensure dependable IT services and deliver outstanding technical assistance throughout the organization. This remote, full-time position is open exclusively to candidates legally authorized to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-level technical support for hardware, software, and systems troubles.
• Set up, install, and maintain computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, printers, and network connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, including creation, password resets, and access controls.
• Track and address support requests using the IT ticketing platform.
• Conduct regular software updates, system upkeep, and security audits.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance IT services and ensure smooth user experiences.

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 software suites.
• Understanding of computer hardware components, basic networking concepts, and IT support methods.
• Familiarity with common business applications and troubleshooting strategies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a customer service mindset.
