Overview
We are searching for a motivated IT Service Desk Analyst to join our expanding technology team providing support to users throughout the UK. This full-time permanent role is ideal for candidates passionate about technology and customer service, whether you have prior IT support experience or have recently finished relevant qualifications with practical skills. The position is entirely remote within the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver frontline IT support through phone, email, and ticketing platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and corporate applications.
- Manage user accounts and access using Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Refer advanced issues to higher-level technical teams as needed.
- Accurately record incident details, solutions, and technical procedures.
- Handle setup and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
- Maintain exceptional customer service while adhering to service level agreements.
Candidate Requirements
- Between six months and two years of experience in IT support or service desk roles; relevant internships considered.
- Basic familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Understanding of Active Directory operations including password resets and user management.
- Experience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Zendesk.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Well-organized, motivated to learn and develop professionally.
- Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalents are beneficial.
- IT-related educational background such as degree, diploma, or apprenticeship.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
