Role Overview
Lead and oversee the organization's IT department, guaranteeing that technology services are dependable, secure, economical, and support overarching business goals. This position is responsible for IT governance, cybersecurity management, stakeholder relations, budgeting, procurement, and long-term IT planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and update the IT roadmap and technological strategy in alignment with company objectives.
- Integrate IT projects with business priorities and operational demands.
- Guide and mentor the IT team to nurture service quality and ongoing enhancements.
- Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and operational procedures.
- Supervise cybersecurity governance and risk management efforts.
- Ensure adherence to DPTM, PDPA, client security standards, and relevant regulations.
- Lead IT and cybersecurity governance meetings as chair or coordinator.
- Assess and approve risk analyses, acceptances, and corrective action plans.
- Prepare the organization for internal and external audits.
- Act as the main IT liaison for management and business units, gathering needs and converting them into tech solutions.
- Report technology risks, incident updates, and enhancement plans to leadership.
- Oversee IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers, including evaluation and contract negotiations.
- Monitor the performance and delivery of outsourced IT services.
- Plan and manage IT budget including hardware, software, and license expenses.
- Coordinate hardware refresh schedules and IT asset lifecycle processes.
- Direct cybersecurity programs such as vulnerability management, incident response, and user security awareness.
- Review security assessments and track remediation progress.
- Ensure IT service levels meet established agreements and monitor operational effectiveness and user satisfaction.
- Pursue continuous improvements to IT service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications like ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or cloud certificates (AWS, Azure) are advantageous.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in overseeing IT operations.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity governance, vendor management, Microsoft 365, and IT service management principles.
