Role Overview
Under the guidance of the Business Applications Manager, the IT Business Solutions Partner will be tasked with identifying and documenting business processes and software requirements that support IT’s engagement within broader business-centric projects. This role serves as a strategic liaison between IT and various business units to align technology solutions with the company’s strategic objectives and ensure tangible value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and document current business workflows and software needs.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to convert business requirements into clear IT objectives.
- Develop essential project documentation such as briefs, business cases, and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Assist in designing solutions and ensure their consistency with business strategies.
- Foster and sustain productive relationships across business and IT teams.
- Detect risks and identify opportunities for enhancement within systems and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a Business Analyst or Solutions Partner capacity.
- Proven strength in analytical thinking and documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in engaging stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise applications, ideally SAP and Microsoft ecosystems.
- Preferred tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Business Analysis is advantageous.
- Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is beneficial.
