IT Business Analyst - Aviation

Role Overview

We seek an IT Business Analyst with aviation sector experience to oversee and support a variety of technical projects from initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive and precise project scope and design documentation that aligns with IT policies and guides technical teams in solution development.
• Gather and formulate clear, traceable requirements through methods such as interviews, document reviews, workshops, surveys, site assessments, process mapping, use cases, and workflow evaluations.
• Analyze information critically from diverse sources to resolve discrepancies, break down complex data into understandable components, and clarify user needs.
• Partner with developers, system architects, subject matter experts, and IT colleagues to define a technical vision balancing usability and system performance.
• Confirm that approved requirements are sufficiently detailed to ensure delivery of solutions fulfilling the customers' expectations.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in the IT Business Analyst role, with involvement in software development lifecycle phases.
• Strong communication and documentation capabilities relevant to software projects; adept at engaging professionally with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Solid analytical and foundational project management competencies, including translating business demands into software and operational specifications.
• Capacity to rapidly comprehend and distill intricate, detailed processes.
