Role Overview
This position is oriented around PST hours, so candidates must reside within the PST time zone.
The IT Operations Administrator ensures seamless, efficient, and secure technology functioning by providing excellent support for systems, devices, and platforms across both domestic and international employees. This role involves independently diagnosing software and hardware issues, managing tickets from initiation through resolution, and proactively enhancing user technology experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee technology onboarding, offboarding, and orientation, including hardware setup and software installation.
- Provide comprehensive support for Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as mobile devices on Apple and Android platforms.
- Administer user accounts and software permissions through platforms like Okta, Jira, and Google Workspace.
- Maintain asset inventory, oversee hardware lifecycle including procurement, provisioning, configuration, and distribution.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to uphold IT security standards and compliance, especially regarding AI tools.
- Create documentation, troubleshooting guides, and clearly communicate solutions during ticket resolution.
- Appropriately escalate complex issues while maintaining consistent communication and follow-up.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years of experience in IT roles.
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Experience working in fully remote settings with familiarity in zero touch deployment and mobile device management (MDM).
- Proficiency with Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, and Service Management.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles encompassing data protection, access management, and security best practices.
- Basic knowledge of information security and privacy compliance standards, capable of applying established policies effectively.
- Able to detect and escalate potential security or compliance issues related to AI tools and beyond.
- Adaptability in adopting and promoting new processes and technologies.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precise and thorough task completion.
- Excellent time management with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and critical thinking capability.
- Customer service focused with professionalism and courteous interaction.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while maintaining alignment with the team.

Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $84,000 to $130,000 annually. This range covers candidates in all US locations, including but not limited to California, Colorado, New York, Washington, Nevada, Maryland, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Salary offers consider factors such as candidate location, skills, experience, training, certifications, performance, and organizational needs. The total rewards package includes equity, 401(k) matching, and region-specific health and wellness benefits.
