The company is expanding and invites recent or soon-to-be graduates with backgrounds in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software, Mechatronics, IoT, or related technical fields to join their Dublin Glasnevin office as IoT Solutions Engineers. This role offers an entry point into the realm of connected devices involving hardware, software, and real-world customer challenges, emphasizing learning and growth without requiring prior professional experience.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with sales, support, installation, product, and customer success teams, managing the IoT component end-to-end to maximize customer value.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of devices, platforms, integrations, and installation procedures to become a key technical resource.
- Engage directly with customers to optimize their experience and benefits from the platform.
- Provide assistance throughout customer onboarding, technical scoping, solution design, deployment, and troubleshooting phases.
- Investigate and resolve device, connectivity, installation, and data-related issues working with internal and external teams.
- Contribute to the innovation of IoT solutions addressing complex challenges faced by customers and fleet operators.
- Create and update clear technical documentation, process guides, and knowledge base content.
- Support testing activities for new hardware, firmware, software, integrations, and IoT technologies.
- Offer technical input for customer projects, tenders, pilot programs, and product improvements.
Qualifications and Desired Attributes
- Recent or upcoming qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, IoT, Robotics, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Strong enthusiasm for IoT, telematics, connected devices, fleet technologies, and data-focused problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on, practical working style with acute attention to detail and eagerness to learn on the job.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities, take ownership, and see issues through to resolution.
- A positive, curious, and ambitious attitude valuing potential over experience.
Additional Advantages
- Experience or familiarity with embedded systems, CAN bus, sensors, connected devices, or IoT communication protocols.
- Exposure to APIs, data analytics, SQL, Python, or related coding/scripting.
- Knowledge of networking, SIM card/connectivity issues, or hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Participation in final-year projects, internships, or placements involving hardware-software integration.
- Experience collaborating on group projects with cross-functional teams to deliver tangible outcomes.
Why Join Transpoco?
- Work on real-world problems integrating hardware and software processing millions of vehicle data points daily for vital industries.
- A growth-oriented culture with early responsibility allocation and support for career progression.
- Competitive graduate remuneration and access to a company pension plan.
- Office-based role located in Dublin at DCU Alpha in Glasnevin with pleasant local amenities including nearby Botanical Gardens and popular local pubs.
- An inclusive environment that prioritizes mindset and potential over checklist qualifications.
