Position Overview

This contract role seeks a UK-based Senior Investment Lead to provide expert guidance on investment decisions involving both public securities and private enterprises, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver senior-level investment judgment for public and private-company investments.
  • Develop and implement the investment framework and analytical methodologies for the broader team.
  • Analyze valuations, portfolio compositions, asset allocations, and investment-policy considerations.
  • Critically assess underlying assumptions, spotlight significant risks, and confirm conclusions are backed by strong quantitative and qualitative evidence.
  • Oversee the formulation of investment recommendations, ensuring they are commercially viable and ready for execution.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on financial models, analyses, and presentation materials created by team members.
  • Clearly and authoritatively communicate investment conclusions to senior stakeholders.
  • Respond to reviewer feedback with swift iterative improvements on analyses and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • 12 to 15+ years of professional investment experience.
  • Senior roles experience within Multi-Family Offices, Private Equity firms, Hedge Funds, investment offices, banks, or similar institutional investment entities.
  • Positions such as Chief Investment Officer, Managing Director, Investment Director, Head of Investments, or Senior Portfolio Manager.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of public markets and private-company investments.
  • Proven experience evaluating diversified portfolios across various asset classes and industries.
  • Strong expertise in portfolio construction, valuation, asset allocation, investment analysis, and risk management.
  • Outstanding written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex investment assessments.
  • Detail-focused, commercially astute, and open to having investment conclusions reviewed and challenged.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Multi-Family Offices.
  • Background in private equity, hedge fund, or investment banking.
  • Prior involvement with AI evaluation, human-data projects, or structured investment assessments.

Terms & Compensation
