About the Role
The Investment Banking Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting clients with capital market fundraisings, alongside delivering corporate finance and strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and various financial deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with senior Investment Banking professionals while taking a junior role in transactions and project assignments.
- Apply accounting principles to review financial statements and filings, incorporating relevant data into detailed financial analyses.
- Create marketing presentations, valuation reports, and statistical exhibits for pitches and live transactions.
- Develop precise and efficient financial models and analytical tools.
- Independently gather market, industry, and product data to conduct thorough research.
- Deliver high-quality work within designated timeframes.
- Communicate effectively, clearly, and professionally in all contexts.
- Manage multiple projects and teams concurrently, ensuring coordination and progress.
- Comply with internal procedures and policies, understanding their importance and tracking adherence.
- Interpret and apply relevant legal documentation related to transactions.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and product knowledge to bring insights to clients and projects.
- Evaluate risks prudently when making business decisions, safeguard company and client interests, adhere to compliance regulations, and uphold ethical business conduct.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 5 years of applicable experience in investment banking or related financial services.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a closely related Business Administration discipline.
- Experience assessing corporate transaction structures and creating detailed financial analyses.
- Strong command of both written and verbal communication with clarity and professionalism.
- Able to perform under pressure in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor’s or University degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
