Position Overview
This role is for an Associate within Investment Banking & Capital Markets focusing on Healthcare, based in New York. The business unit delivers a complete range of investment banking and capital markets solutions to large-cap and mid-cap clients, including mergers & acquisitions, restructuring advice, and capital raising through equity and debt markets worldwide.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of ongoing transactions for the Healthcare coverage group, including creating detailed memoranda and presentations, and analyzing client company attributes.
- Utilize financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative techniques to assess and execute acquisitions, financings, and equity issuance.
- Develop and implement advanced financial models and analyses.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as needed throughout transaction processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience supporting M&A and capital markets deals (including IPOs, equity offerings, investment grade and leveraged finance debt instruments) within the Healthcare sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Series 79 and 63 licenses are preferred.

- Expertise in performing detailed financial modeling and valuation of public and private companies.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive company and industry research to support deal execution and client pitches.
Additional Information
- This position requires in-office presence at One Columbus Circle, New York, NY.
- The salary range offered is $150,000 to $225,000 annually; final salary depends on experience, qualifications, and location. Incentive compensation is not included.
