Position Overview

The role is for an Analyst on the Healthcare coverage team within Investment Banking and Capital Markets. Based in New York, NY, this position sits in the bank’s Origination & Advisory franchise, which delivers a broad suite of advisory and capital-raising solutions to large-cap and mid-cap corporates as well as financial sponsors. The platform supports mergers and acquisitions, restructuring advisory, debt capital markets, and equity capital markets work across cross-border and regional transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with active transaction execution for the Industrials coverage team by preparing detailed materials, presentations, and analysis of client businesses
• Use financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative approaches to assess and support acquisitions, financings, and equity capital raises
• Build and refine advanced financial models and analytical tools
• Prepare final summaries of client meetings and discussions for senior leadership and keep communication flowing with the team

Skills and Experience Needed

• Prior experience providing analytical and quantitative support for M&A and capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on equity offerings, and investment-grade or leveraged finance debt deals
• Exposure to supporting senior bankers through pitching, bake-off processes, marketing materials, modeling, and end-to-end deal execution
• Industry knowledge of the Industrials sector through study and/or professional experience is preferred
• A bachelor’s degree is required
• Series 79 and Series 63 licenses are preferred

Ways to Excel in the Role

• Ability to carry out detailed financial modeling and valuation work on public and private companies
• Strong capability in company, market, and industry research to support live deals and pitch activity

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role in New York City is USD 110,000 to USD 125,000. Actual pay may vary depending on skills, experience, education, work location, and other relevant factors. Incentive compensation and other forms of remuneration are not included in this range. Benefits include wellness support, financial security programs, and work-life balance resources.
