Role overview
A leading media and entertainment-focused investment banking firm is hiring an Analyst to join its team in Los Angeles or New York. In this role, you will be a key member of the deal team and collaborate closely with senior bankers across a range of client assignments, including buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions as well as capital raising mandates.
What the role involves
- Support senior bankers on live client engagements.
- Contribute to both buy-side and sell-side merger and acquisition processes.
- Assist with capital raise transactions.
- Work as part of the broader deal team on investment banking assignments.
Experience and background
The firm is seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, accounting, corporate strategy, or financial valuation. Prior exposure to the entertainment sector is an advantage, though it is not mandatory. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
Skills and professional qualities
Strong teamwork, solid financial and accounting knowledge, sound financial modeling ability, and familiarity with M&A processes are important for success in this position.
