Key Responsibilities

  • Support and execute mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and corporate finance projects within targeted Industrials sectors such as Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Construction, and Chemicals.
  • Analyze financial data to identify business performance trends, build financial models, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Conduct detailed company and market research to underpin transaction analysis.
  • Develop marketing materials including pitch books and information memoranda for financing and M&A mandates.
  • Identify valuation and transaction risks and provide insights to project teams.
  • Assist in business development efforts and contribute to team member growth and career progression.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum one year of relevant investment banking or M&A execution experience.
  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to create complex financial models including pivot tables.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills coupled with independent judgment.
  • Familiarity with research databases and competent data analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Residency within commuting distance to the Houston, TX office.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work additional hours as needed, including potential client site travel beyond the primary location.

Preferred qualifications include possession of Series 7, 79, and/or 63 securities licenses, a successful track record in M&A transactions, interest or experience in the Industrials sector, and familiarity with firm-approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
