Investment Associate - Digital Infrastructure (PE) Singapore/ Tokyo

Role overview

A global digital infrastructure investment platform is growing its investment team across APAC and has openings in both Singapore and Japan. This is a hands-on, deal-oriented position where you will take ownership of analysis, participate directly in investment discussions, and work closely with senior investors and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses to assess prospective investments.
• Carry out due diligence on active transactions while coordinating with lenders and external advisors.
• Prepare high-quality materials for investment committee discussions and for current LP communications.
• Monitor how portfolio companies are performing after acquisition or investment close.
• Partner with portfolio management teams on expansion plans and follow-on investment opportunities.
• Contribute throughout the full transaction lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities through to exit execution.

Candidate profile

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a top-tier investment bank, private equity firm, or a similar environment.
• Prior exposure to M&A, leveraged finance, or sponsor-side investing is preferred.
• Experience in TMT or communication infrastructure is an advantage.
• A strong academic background from a leading undergraduate university is expected.
• Advanced financial modelling skills and strong analytical judgement are essential.
• You should be highly detail-oriented and able to communicate ideas clearly and professionally.

This role is based in Singapore, with headcount also available in Japan.
