Investment Analyst - Principal Public Markets (Remote, Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess holdings in public equities, fixed income instruments, ETFs, mutual funds, and other liquid assets.
• Identify portfolio structural problems, concentration risks, gaps in asset allocation, and key factors affecting performance.
• Evaluate investments relative to appropriate benchmarks and stated investment goals.
• Generate comprehensive market updates highlighting significant macroeconomic, sectoral, and asset-class trends.
• Formulate data-driven rebalancing proposals and develop clear, actionable execution plans.
• Analyze returns, volatility, risk exposures, and benchmark-relative performance.
• Incorporate detailed feedback from senior evaluators and refine analyses promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of professional experience in public market investments.
• Direct, practical expertise in portfolio management, asset allocation, choosing ETFs or funds, and analyzing portfolio risk.
• Comprehensive knowledge of public equities, fixed income, ETFs, funds, benchmarks, and their application in portfolio construction.
• Robust quantitative abilities with skills in portfolio performance evaluation and risk assessment.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the capability to clearly articulate portfolio decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a CFA credential is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience related to AI project evaluation or structured investment assessment initiatives is considered a plus.
