Job description
Role Overview
The organization is looking for an investment analyst with a focus on real estate to assess, structure, and manage property investment opportunities while helping grow and optimize investment portfolios. The role centers on feasibility studies, advanced financial analysis, and evaluating potential returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive feasibility studies for new projects.
- Analyze financial outcomes under best-case, base-case, and worst-case scenarios.
- Assess financial and investment-related risks.
- Identify possible opportunities and constraints associated with each option.
- Compare alternative investment choices to support decision-making.
- Calculate core investment metrics, including IRR, NPV, ROI, payback period, and other profitability indicators with accuracy.
- Track the performance of existing investments and evaluate portfolio results.
- Spot opportunities to improve returns and monitor investment risk exposure.
- Recommend portfolio rebalancing actions when needed.
- Create advanced financial models for projects and test different assumptions through what-if and sensitivity analysis.
- Develop future financial forecasts and scenario-based projections.
- Research emerging investment opportunities and study the real estate market and its trends.
- Evaluate the economic viability of projects and compare investment options.
- Prepare detailed investment reports, periodic performance updates, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Provide well-supported investment recommendations.
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data.
- Maintain an investment database and keep project and opportunity information current.
- Build clear data visualizations using Power BI.
Required Profile
Candidates should have more than 5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, along with strong analytical and research capabilities. A solid understanding of ROI, IRR, and NPV is essential. The role also requires advanced Excel skills, financial modeling expertise, familiarity with the real estate market and industry trends, and practical experience with Power BI and Tableau. A degree in finance management or economics is required, and fluency in English is necessary.
