Job description

Role overview

The Luxury Booths is looking for a sharp, detail-focused Investment Analyst / Financial Analyst to help drive investment research, financial planning, and strategic decisions. In this role, you will examine financial performance, assess investment opportunities, and turn complex data into practical insights that support growth and long-term value creation.

What you will do

You will gather and interpret financial, economic, and market information to spot trends, opportunities, and risks. The role includes researching industries, companies, and market conditions, as well as contributing to investment assessments, financial forecasting, and planning work.

Your day-to-day work will involve building financial models, preparing valuation studies, creating investment summaries, and producing forecast projections. You will review financial statements, track key performance indicators, evaluate business results, and make recommendations based on both quantitative and qualitative analysis.

You will also support portfolio or project reviews, measure risk, and help prepare presentations, business cases, and reports for stakeholders across different functions. A further part of the role is monitoring market movements, following industry developments, and improving financial reporting and analysis processes over time.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly analytical, and comfortable turning complicated information into clear, useful recommendations. Strong numerical reasoning, accuracy, and communication skills are important for success in this position.

  • Exposure to investment concepts, financial markets, and risk evaluation techniques.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • Ability to carry out industry research, market analysis, and competitive review.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and finance-related analysis tools.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful business insights.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Capability to prepare polished reports, presentations, and investment recommendations.
  • Good organisation, planning, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
  • Familiarity with financial databases, reporting systems, and analytical platforms is beneficial.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • High professional integrity, sound judgment, and respect for confidentiality.
  • Willingness to learn new financial tools, technologies, and market trends.
