Role overview

Wind Quality is looking for an entry-level Investment Analyst to contribute to investment research, financial evaluation, and portfolio support work. This role is suited to someone who is enthusiastic about markets, investment decision-making, and using data to guide analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Research markets, industries, and individual companies to surface potential investment opportunities.
  • Review financial statements, market patterns, and economic indicators to support analysis.
  • Assist with portfolio tracking, performance reviews, and risk evaluation.
  • Draft investment reports, financial models, presentations, and recommendation materials.
  • Keep an eye on financial markets, broader economic changes, and portfolio performance.
  • Support valuation work, due diligence tasks, and other investment analysis activities.
  • Work with portfolio managers and other teams on investment-related projects.
  • Update investment databases and help maintain the accuracy of financial records.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical thinking, numerical ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial markets, core investment concepts, and financial statements.
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is an added advantage.
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to handle several priorities and work within deadlines.
  • Genuine interest in finance, investing, and ongoing professional development.
