Role overview
Wind Quality is seeking an entry-level to junior IT Support Officer who is comfortable working with users, solving technical issues, and helping keep day-to-day technology services running smoothly across the organization. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, supporting employees, and building practical experience in workplace IT.
Core duties
- Act as the initial point of contact for hardware, software, and system-related technical issues.
- Set up, configure, and support computers, laptops, printers, and standard business software.
- Help with network access, user account administration, and permission management.
- Record, monitor, and close IT support requests in a prompt and professional way.
- Identify the cause of technical problems and refer more complex issues to the right team when needed.
- Provide friendly and effective assistance to staff members with technology questions and incidents.
- Assist with routine maintenance, system updates, backups, and security-related tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical notes and contribute to internal IT knowledge resources.
Skills and knowledge needed
- Basic working knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
