Role Purpose

The Investigations Manager role is crucial in protecting Prudential's assets and reputation by proactively preventing, identifying, and investigating suspicious sales, fraudulent claims, and internal misconduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and scrutinize suspicious sales activities to uncover potential fraud.
• Conduct thorough investigations into life insurance claims to detect fraudulent behaviors.
• Utilize data analytics techniques to spot fraud patterns, anomalies, and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
• Create and enforce policies aimed at preventing fraudulent activities.
• Develop training modules tailored for sales, underwriting, and claims teams to enhance fraud awareness.
• Ensure investigations meet internal turnaround time targets and service-level agreements.
• Lead fraud prevention initiatives for internal auditors, operational teams, and senior leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies and gaps in processes, recommending improvements to boost operational efficiency and fraud controls.
• Support functions related to data integrity, claims analytics, and management reporting.
• Make claims decisions that minimize financial, legal, and reputational risks.
• Work collaboratively with Legal, Risk Management, and HR to address internal fraud cases.
• Coordinate with external law enforcement agencies by providing evidence for criminal or civil cases.
• Ensure all investigative processes comply rigorously with local regulations on privacy, data protection, and insurance industry laws.
