Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory Controller for our Distribution Centre in Edwardstown, South Australia. This key position entails managing the flow of inventory into and out of the centre under the guidance of the DC Manager. The role aims to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure accuracy in handling and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Constantly monitor stock and inventory levels to minimize write-offs
- Ensure all products are received, stored, recorded, and allocated correctly in a saleable condition
- Coordinate with internal planners and production teams to track stock and maintain sufficient inventory to meet sales demands
- Conduct and report on regular stocktakes, cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory reviews
Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in SAP software
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and capability to resolve problems effectively
- Skilled in Excel and generating reports
- Analytical and data-driven mindset
