Role Overview

As an intern in Technology Consulting & Solutions, you will play an active role in the pre-sales process for strategic deals. Working closely with the Head of Solution Engineering and experienced Solution Engineers, you will help shape customer engagements, develop business cases, and turn complex business and technical challenges into practical solution narratives.

The internship starts immediately and is planned for a minimum duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts in depth, including their industry, organizational setup, frontline workforce pain points, and level of digital maturity, and use these insights to prepare hypothesis-led discovery frameworks for prospect conversations.
  • Create business cases and value models that clearly show the impact of Flip for specific prospect profiles and help strengthen the buying case.
  • Study the competitive landscape from both functional and technical angles so the team can position Flip effectively and understand where it has an advantage.
  • Assess prospects’ technical environments, including their IT stack, systems, and integration needs, and translate that complexity into a solution fit.
  • Support Solution Engineers with demo preparation, RFP and RFI inputs, reusable playbooks, vertical use-case libraries, and tracking of SE engagement metrics.

What You Bring

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program or an advanced Bachelor’s program in Business, Economics, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
  • You are comfortable working in a structured, hypothesis-driven manner and care about strong execution and high-quality output.
  • Prior exposure to consulting, sales, business development, or a startup / fast-moving environment is an added advantage.
  • You have a solid interest or background in IT, SaaS, or B2B technology, especially around enterprise software, system integrations, or technical pre-sales.
  • You communicate confidently and clearly in both German and English, in writing as well as verbally.
  • You are proactive, dependable, and collaborative by nature.
