Position Summary

The International Tax Manager will be engaged in overseeing tax functions for various international entities while providing support to the US region. This role is part of a small and dynamic team that operates in a fast-paced environment and reports to the Global Tax Director based in the US. The role is initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and review transfer pricing documentation for multiple international jurisdictions.
• Maximise global Research and Development (R&D) tax credits by collaborating with relevant departments and partnering with accounting to monitor and document qualified R&D expenditures.
• Prepare quarterly corporate tax provisions for international operations.
• Engage with external corporate tax service providers by supplying timely data and reviewing tax returns to ensure accurate filing.
• Coordinate preparation of indirect tax returns across international locations, leveraging service providers as needed.
• Assist with external and internal audit inquiries by providing pertinent information.
• Develop and assess internal control documents relating to tax responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• An organized, outgoing, and confident professional with excellent communication skills and a commitment to excellence, seeking to progress as a tax manager.
• Preferably possessing 3 to 5 years of post-qualification tax experience.
• Experience with a US-based company and familiarity with international tax matters and R&D tax credits are advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating flexibility and eagerness for continuous learning and development.
• Knowledgeable about Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and financial reporting standards.
• A collaborative team player dedicated to achieving collective goals.
