Role Overview

The International Digital Marketing Manager will spearhead worldwide digital marketing efforts to promote Los Angeles as a preferred travel destination across significant international markets. This role entails managing multilingual website content, social media, influencer collaborations, digital communications, and branding projects alongside global teams and partners. The position requires coordination of marketing tactics to increase engagement, brand recognition, and visitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead brand, digital, and social media projects with teams and agencies in key international markets, ensuring timely prioritization and response.
  • Engage and host influencers and creators from domestic and international regions to boost visibility.
  • Oversee international language versions of discoverlosangeles.com, ensuring content translation, regular posting, and website traffic analysis via Google Analytics.
  • Manage international social media channels with collaboration from the Social Media Manager, ensuring consistent posting and performance tracking.
  • Coordinate B2B digital communications, including eNewsletters, branding initiatives, and trade social media pages with international teams.
  • Assist in reviewing and managing international advertising campaigns.
  • Support additional projects such as international activations, drafting scopes of work for influencers, image adjustments for digital platforms, and collaboration with Visit California and Brand USA.

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of Los Angeles neighborhoods and attractions with a passion for destination marketing.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing international projects across multiple time zones.
  • Strong understanding of online communication strategies, branding, digital tools, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, positive attitude, motivated, and a collaborative team player.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective cross-departmental communication skills and adaptability to changing environments.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Fluency or working knowledge of languages such as Spanish, Korean, Japanese, German, French, or Chinese is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with eligibility for bonuses. The role offers a hybrid work model with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and office presence in DTLA from Tuesday to Thursday. Benefits include company-paid parking, early Friday closures, holiday office shutdown, paid holidays, vacation, sick and floating holidays, paid family leave, comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance, pet insurance, employer-paid life and disability coverage, employee assistance programs, flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) plan with up to 6% match and support for student loan payments. Additional Information

Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds. The role demands vision, hearing, and manual dexterity appropriate for office equipment use and prolonged sitting.
