Role Overview
This internship offers exposure to investor relations work, including the preparation of investor communications, analysis of industry information, and participation in investor meetings and events. It is a good fit for students who are comfortable working with data, presentations, and market insights, and who want to understand how listed companies communicate with the investment community.
What You Will Work On
- Handle operational, financial, and industry data such as company performance figures and energy-related statistics.
- Help maintain and review datasets that support investor reporting.
- Contribute to the creation of presentation slides, results materials, and investor decks.
- Support the development of charts and visuals that present information clearly and accurately.
- Prepare background materials for investor meetings, including company profiles and briefing notes.
- Attend investor discussions where needed and turn key points into concise summaries.
- Assist with coordination for non-deal roadshows, site visits, and investor events.
- Carry out basic administrative and logistical support tasks for the team.
Preferred Background and Skills
- Currently studying or trained in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint, including formulas, charts, and slide preparation.
- Strong numerical ability with careful attention to detail.
- Genuine interest in financial markets and investing.
- Able to communicate clearly and contribute effectively in a team setting.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and willing to take initiative.
