Role Overview
Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, the incumbent will support international cosmetic registrations, documenting procedures to navigate regulatory notification and registration phases efficiently. This role collaborates across teams and with external partners to ensure product compliance through the development cycle, from claims to packaging, including sustainability considerations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product registration and notification processes for e.l.f. Beauty brands across regions including India, GCC, EU, UK, Australia, and Mexico, overseeing documentation, submission, tracking, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with consultants, distributors, and manufacturers to ensure adherence to compliance standards and timely completion of registrations and notifications aligned with brand schedules.
- Support the Regulatory Manager by gathering intelligence on upcoming cosmetic, OTC, and packaging regulations and collaborating with departments to implement necessary actions.
- Assist in meeting Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting and registration requirements.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries from retail partners concerning e.l.f. Beauty products.
- Monitor regulatory changes and amendments, contributing to relevant trade association committees.
Required Qualifications
- Between one and three years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics industry.
- Degree in a scientific discipline (minimum of a Bachelor's).
- Comprehensive knowledge of cosmetic regulations, particularly for color cosmetics and skincare, covering ingredients, labeling, registration, claims, and packaging compliance.
- Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks governing ingredients, finished products, claims, and artwork.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Comfort with web-based regulatory databases and submission systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe applications.
- Highly self-driven and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary is commensurate with experience and location, supplemented by a performance bonus program that can reach up to 200% of the target, equity awards, and benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, retirement plans, gender-neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off.
