Role Overview

As the Interim Head of International Marketing, you will be responsible for spearheading the alignment of marketing strategies and priorities across international markets, ensuring the central brand vision is effectively translated into coherent local execution. Your role will involve maintaining consistency across brand management, social media, influencer collaborations, and design efforts, while syncing regional activities with the overarching brand direction. Additionally, you'll support the business by setting clear priorities, leading the marketing team, and making decisions driven by performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and support marketing teams across Brand, Social Media, Influencer, and Design with a focus on operations in the DACH region.
• Harmonize local marketing strategies with international brand and business goals.
• Manage regional marketing plans, key campaigns, and execution across multiple channels.
• Contribute to marketing budget planning and monitor operational spending within approved limits.
• Analyze marketing performance, market feedback, and business insights to facilitate prioritization and strategy adjustments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between local teams and international stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and synchronized execution.
• Promote ongoing organizational growth, improve marketing workflows, and encourage cross-functional teamwork within the marketing department.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to implement effective regional marketing activities.
• Maintain stability and continuity of marketing operations throughout the temporary assignment period.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of five years in marketing, including experience leading multiple marketing teams or functions.
• Expertise in multi-channel marketing and deep familiarity with the DACH market landscape.
• Proven leadership skills to manage teams, coordinate among various functions, and liaise effectively with local and global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities, comfortable with interpreting KPIs, performance metrics, and market data.
• Experience handling marketing budgets and making data-driven decisions on expenditure.
• A pragmatic, hands-on, and methodical approach, capable of thriving in transitionary environments.
• Fluency in German at near-native proficiency and very strong English communication skills, both essential.
