About the Role

We are searching for Intake Coordinators dedicated to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy while processing referral requests efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and organizational data through rigorous operational oversight.
- Timely and precise management of Central Intake referral requests on a daily basis.
- Effectively prioritize daily tasks in line with the department's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, ProDC, and database management for data entry and operations.
- Exhibit patience and a positive attitude coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrate keen attention to detail, multitask effectively, and adapt to fluctuating workloads as required by agency growth.
- Monitor and report individual key performance indicators every day.
- Engage in team meetings, handle correspondence, share responsibilities, and promote continuous professional learning.
- Cross-train and collaborate with other Central Operations Teams on special projects.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- One to two years’ experience in healthcare, ideally home healthcare.
- Experience with Intake Eligibility processes.
- Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicare Advantage systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Electronic Medical Records systems.
- Fast and precise typing skills.
- Comprehension of patient plans of care and insurance eligibility standards.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Able to adhere to documented procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
- Eagerness to learn and evolve within a dynamic work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
