Job Description
The Insurance Specialist will be responsible for achieving assigned sales targets by collaborating with bank sales teams, specifically Relationship Managers (RMs) and Wealth Advisors (WAs). This role involves daily engagement with these teams to identify and pursue insurance sales opportunities, maintaining a robust business pipeline, and providing essential training on products, underwriting guidelines, and application processes to ensure efficient business flow and timely Turnaround Times (TAT). The specialist will also be tasked with educating the sales team on underwriting requirements, facilitating policy statements and fund fact sheets, ensuring the availability of sales materials, and tracking contest qualifiers. Additionally, the role requires supporting untapped client data to generate new business avenues, activating RMs across segments to boost business, and providing portfolio synopses for high-net-worth clients. A key aspect of the role is assisting RMs/WAs in quarterly client portfolio reviews and driving a balanced mix of protection and savings products, as well as regular and single premiums.
Additional Information
The role requires supporting the sales team with field underwriting for new applications, ensuring all documentation is complete. Monthly performance reports on fund performance will be provided to the sales team via the MetLife platform. Joint client meetings with RMs/WAs will also be part of the responsibilities.
