Job description
Role summary
This role supports maintenance planning for the Asset Maintenance team, with the aim of improving the reliability of operating facilities across the Onshore Assets under the Operations Expansion & Start Up (OES) department. The position focuses on building effective plans, coordinating resources, and helping maintenance work execute smoothly in line with company policies, procedures, instructions, and performance targets.
Recruitment process note
A recruitment campaign will be conducted in India in the latter part of 2026. Only candidates who are shortlisted for this role will be invited for an in-person interview. Walk-in interviews will not be considered.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance planning work so it supports OES KPIs and is completed within the required timelines for efficient operations.
- Create detailed work scopes for company work orders related to asset maintenance.
- Check planned tasks to confirm that materials, procurement, tools, equipment, labour, contract support, and logistics needs are properly identified and assigned.
- Review new notifications every day to confirm they contain enough information for planning, establish realistic Time Frame Under Consideration (TFUC), support Latest Acceptable Completion Date (LACD) requirements, process amendment checks, and request cancellation of duplicate work orders for the same equipment or functional location.
- Make sure all related costs are entered into the work order before it is submitted for management approval, and ensure the planned work follows company standards.
- Submit Master Data Governance (MDG) requests when items are missing or incorrect in the SAP Bill of Materials (BOM) and they affect work order planning.
Qualifications
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering is required.
Experience and knowledge
- Applicants should have 7 years of direct maintenance experience in planning and scheduling within the oil and gas or petrochemical sector.
- At least 3 of those years must have been spent in planning and/or scheduling responsibilities.
