Role Overview

The Installer position involves supporting the setup and removal of vending and market equipment across various locations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute equipment installations and removals for existing and new accounts.
• Apply foundational skills in carpentry, millwork assembly, electrical, plumbing, and IT systems relevant to equipment fitting.
• Collaborate with management and customers to determine optimal installation or removal strategies.
• Travel throughout the region to service different sites, driving company vehicles responsibly.
• Handle equipment movement between warehouse and client locations using appropriate tools.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, perform daily vehicle inspections, address any issues, and secure keys and vehicles properly.
• Use mechanical tools and small hand instruments to facilitate equipment repair, installation, or removal tasks.
• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
• Test and replenish machines to guarantee client satisfaction post-installation.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history and ability to satisfy Department of Transportation regulations.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending safety guidelines, operating manuals, and procedural documentation.
• Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively with both customers and colleagues.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and computing percentages, rates, and ratios.
• Problem-solving aptitude applicable to practical scenarios with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret diverse instructions in written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule formats, including understanding simple CAD drawings with measurements.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Frequent activities include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Regularly required to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds, and push or pull up to 700 pounds with equipment assistance.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, and varying weather conditions is common.
• Occasional exposure to challenging environments such as heights, airborne particles, toxic substances, extreme temperatures, radiation risks, and vibrations.
