Role Overview
The Insights Manager at Finch Brands plays a pivotal role in driving market research for a diverse portfolio of online insight communities. This position acts as the key resource for managing both quantitative and qualitative research projects, encompassing research design, analysis, and crafting compelling deliverables. It is suited for an individual with 3-4 years of practical experience in consumer or customer research, who can effectively handle multiple clients and apply rigorous analysis with a strategic mindset to support business decisions across various industries.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle research processes including designing studies, survey programming, managing data collection, analyzing results, and generating insights presentations.
- Produce and refine research instruments such as questionnaires and moderator guides, perform coding and cross-tabulation analysis, and develop persuasive PowerPoint presentations to convey findings.
- Assist account leaders by delivering thorough, high-quality research outputs with careful attention to detail.
- Engage in complex statistical methods including cluster and driver analysis and regression modeling to support advanced research initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in market research, analytics, statistics, business, marketing, psychology, or related fields.
- 3-4 years in a data-oriented role either from the client or supplier perspective, with proven multi-tasking abilities in dynamic environments.
- An analytical mindset capable of synthesizing data into meaningful, strategic insights.
- Proficiency in statistical software like SPSS, MarketSight, Excel, R, or Q, with a solid understanding of quantitative techniques such as significance testing and data weighting.
- Experience in designing and programming questionnaires along with expertise in quantitative research methodologies.
- Exceptional presentation skills, including crafting data-driven stories and visually effective charts and diagrams using PowerPoint.
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands efficiently.
- Commitment to quality assurance and accuracy throughout research projects.
- Curiosity toward innovative research methods and a desire to link consumer insights directly to business objectives.
