- Source and qualify leads through outreach, cold calling, and handling phone and email inquiries from inbound prospects.
- Develop rapport with prospective customers to understand their business goals, needs, and pain points.
- Provide Sales with clear context on prospect status and requirements so qualified opportunities can be handed over smoothly.
- Partner with Relationship Management, Sales Leadership, Marketing, and other internal teams to share account insights and plan sales actions.
- Keep lead activity accurately recorded in Salesforce, including assignment, status updates, and tracking details.
- Build product and industry knowledge to position ICE offerings effectively.
- Take part in internal product sessions, sales training, and mentorship activities to strengthen sales capability.
- Join sales meetings, contribute to business reviews, and assist with product demonstrations when needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though it is not mandatory.
- No prior sales development experience is necessary, but experience or internships in sales or customer-facing roles will be an advantage.
- Strong communication ability, with confidence on calls and skill in handling objections, influencing prospects, and building relationships.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Additional language ability in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is beneficial.
- Good organizational habits, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, competitive, self-driven, and eager to learn; able to contribute ideas and think creatively.
- Comfortable adapting quickly in a fast-moving environment and open to new tools and process changes.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce is helpful but not essential.
- Highly motivated by goals and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Customer-focused mindset with an interest in building trusted relationships.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to track sales activity and use information to guide decisions.
